Answers for tracking, alerts, and retailer quirks.
Start here when a price looks wrong, an alert does not arrive, or a retailer page behaves differently than expected.
Add a Product
Paste a normal product page URL. Search results, carts, hotel listings, and flight pages are not reliable tracking targets.
Set a Target
Open a tracked product and set the price you would be happy paying. Alerts fire when a refresh crosses that target downward.
Manage Emails
Use the unsubscribe link in any alert or open dashboard settings to pause and resume price-drop emails.
Why did PricePaste fail to read a price?
Retailers sometimes change page markup, show bot walls, or render prices only after extra browser interaction. PricePaste saves the product anyway and retries during scheduled checks.
Why didn't I get a price-drop email?
Alerts require email preferences to be enabled, a detected price change, and either a downward target crossing or a lower price when no target is set. Dashboard settings show whether emails are paused.
How does Etsy variant pricing work?
PricePaste tracks the default listing price for Etsy. Some variant-specific Etsy URLs are blocked by the retailer page, so true variant-aware tracking is planned as a separate future integration.
Can I export price history?
Not yet. Price history is visible on product detail pages, and CSV export is a good candidate for a future dashboard improvement.
How do I delete my account?
Send a deletion request through contact support. PricePaste verifies account ownership before removing account data.
AI Insights
Current insights are intentionally simple buying signals based on the tracked price history. More predictive signals are on the roadmap after subscription billing and stronger test coverage.
Integrations
PricePaste currently uses Firecrawl to extract public product page data and supports the major stores that render clean, stable product pages. Retailer-specific APIs can be added later where they materially improve accuracy.
